朋友观书，多有摘议晦庵者。先生曰：“是有心求异，即不是。吾说与晦庵时有不同者，为入门下手处有毫厘千里之分，不得不辩。然吾之心与晦庵之心，未尝异也。若其馀文义解得明当处，如何动得一字？”
