The Patient’s Condition
Once the symptom pattern is understood, decide safety or danger.
Search the line influences again for the mystery within them. Reconsider carefully to fathom their fine subtleties.
First examine Descendants, which most welcomes generation, support, assistance and combination. Next examine the governing image, which fears control, harm, penalty and clash.
Self holding Ghost makes even a light illness hard to cure. Body with Blessing and Virtue makes even a dangerous condition treatable.
Useful robust and supported still raises fear that excessive rigidity will break. The governing image empty without rescue requires guarding against death midway.
Emolument is connected with Wife and Wealth: empty, there is no desire for food. Lifespan belongs to Parents: moving, it instead shortens the allotted years.
The governing image hidden must mean delay over months and years. Descendants in Void or Extinction must mean a lack of rich, nourishing food for recovery.
Ghost at Self must not be followed into the Tomb. Body with Blessing and Virtue should not be injured by moving Parents.
Ghost changing into Birth means the condition is serious now. Useful joined to Ghost and a baneful influence must show immediate danger of collapse.
Blessing changing into an Avoided line increases the illness after slight improvement. Self troubled by Brothers reduces food below the usual amount.
Useful at Extinction receiving generation is dangerous but has rescue. A declining governing image receiving help need not fear even a severe condition.
Ghost hidden in Void: prepare funeral garments and cap early against the unexpected. The day carrying Ghost: promptly offer prayers to secure freedom from harm.
Movement changing into Parents that clashes or controls makes labor a concern. The day bearing Blessing to generate and support means medicine brings recovery.
Flying and Hidden double Officer at Body means a deeply entrenched illness. Life entering the two dark Tombs describes someone belonging to the world beneath the springs.

Response combining while changed Wealth injures means not eating gifts brought by others. Ghost moving but broken by the day: what fear of encountering danger need there be?
To decide recovery, investigate the Blessing Spirit’s movement and stillness. To know the ending of life, examine the strength or decline of Ghost and baneful influences.
