The Master says: A woman with a normal pulse, yin pulse small and weak, thirst, inability to eat and no cold or heat is named pregnant. Guizhi Tang governs, with formula referred to under diarrhea. By the method these signs should appear at sixty days. A physician treating contrary to this a month earlier, adding emesis and purging, brings the source's cutting-off conclusion.
Note: The closing clause is compressed; no modern obstetric procedure is supplied.
A woman with longstanding fixed-mass illness, menses stopped less than three months, unceasing downward bleeding and movement above navel suffers harm from the chronic mass. With fetal movement at six months, what existed in the first three months while menses flowed freely is the fetus. Bleeding during the later three stopped months is clotted blood. It does not stop because the mass remains. Purge the mass; Guizhi Fuling Wan governs. The source's pregnancy and bleeding chronology is retained.
Guizhi Fuling Wan Formula
Guizhi, Fuling, Mudan with core removed, Taoren peeled and tipped then roasted, and Shaoyao, equal portions.
Powder the five and mix with refined honey into rabbit-dropping-sized pills. Take one daily before food; if no effect is perceived, increase to three.
In pregnancy at six or seven months, wiry pulse, fever, increasing fetal distention, abdominal pain and aversion to cold, with lower abdomen like a fan, come from an opened Child Viscus. Warm it with Fuzi Tang. The formula has not been found, says the note.

Pregnancy with Water qi, heavy body, difficult urine, shivering aversion to cold and dizziness upon rising is governed by Kuizi Fuling San.
Kuizi Fuling San Formula
Kuizi 1 jin; Fuling 3 liang.
Pound the two to powder. Take a fangcunbi with a drink three times daily. Free urine means recovery.
In pregnancy, the source recommends regularly taking Danggui San.

Vexed Heart, vomiting pain and inability to eat or drink add Xixin 1 liang and large Banxia 20 pieces. Afterward take vinegar and fermented-grain water; for vomiting use the same. If still unresolved take wheat juice; later thirst barley gruel. Even once illness recovers, the source says not to set it aside.
Fetal injury in a woman, pregnancy with full abdomen, no urine and heaviness below waist like Water qi: at seven months Greater Yin should nourish but does not. This is replete Heart qi.
