Six Geng Days at Bingzi Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Bingzi hour have Body/Ghost declining and Retreat Spirit strong. Support gives honor, none low status; Ghost Born/Flourishing shortens life.” Geng uses Gui Hurting and Bing Ghost. At Zi, Geng is Dead, Bing energy-less and Gui strong. Body support auspicious; none with Body-declining/Ghost-flourishing fortune gives wind-like drifting, early death and low status. Fire-energy month requires western fortune for rank, not so with weak Body. Gengzi day/Bingzi hour noble. Repeated Zi in year/month clash out Ding Office and Ji Seal within Wu into Flying Heavenly Emolument/Horse. No Wealth/Office filling noble; monk/Daoist pure and accomplished, ordinary person fame/profit but wife/child injury. Another view poverty first, riches later. Avoid Jisi month disruptive punishment/poverty, Guiwei solitude, Si/Hai punishment. Gengyin day/Bingzi hour in spring has Wealth/Killing; Metal/Water fortune gold-and-purple. Summer strong Killing greatly noble; autumn strong Body needs southern fortune; winter both weak ordinary. Pure Wu year/month dukes/ministers. Xinsi month harmful punishment; Xinhai solitary early death. Gengxu day/Bingzi hour in spring/summer with southwestern fortune or autumn Wood/Fire fortune noble. Avoid Yisi harmful disruption, Yihai many official disasters/punishment, Jichou harmful ruin, Wuxu violent death. A verse says: “Geng day/Bingzi hour's Hurting configuration is not remarkable. Parents and ancestral property difficult, separate marriage household established.” Another: “Geng day/Bingzi hour punishes Office and turns from Emolument. Parents harmed, early hardship, siblings discordant. Leaving study for trade develops blessing; estates diligent first, idle later. Assets form late: dark first, bright later.”

Six Geng Days at Dingchou Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Dingchou hour meet Office on noble ground, Fire too slight. Wood/Fire connection brings court robes, none only independent empty fame.” Metal heavy, Fire light. Ding Office and Ji Seal: Ding weak and Ji properly positioned at Chou. Wood/Fire month births and flourishes Office/Seal, noble; none empty fame. Fire/Earth Birth/Flourishing month rich, otherwise such fortune still brings fame. Gengzi day/Dingchou hour spring/summer noble, autumn ordinary, winter solitary kin harm. Gengyin day/Dingchou hour leading examination status; Yin, Mao, Wu, Wei, or Hai month pure refined high chart; Wu/Wei fortune distinction, Fire/Earth year/month noble. Gengchen day/Dingchou hour in Chou month rich but short-lived. A single Ji entry gives greatly noble close attendance. Flourishing Fire/generating Earth month noble; absent monthly condition but corresponding fortune still riches/fame. Gengwu day/Dingchou hour with Earth month noble; none still rich/famous. Gengshen day/Dingchou hour in Chou month Metal/Fire fortune highest rank. Chen, Si, Wu, Wei or Xu has flourishing Office/Seal, noble. Shen/You Body too strong needs Wood/Fire; Yin/Mao Wealth too strong needs Metal/Water; Hai/Zi cold Metal/Water needs Fire/Earth fortune for rank. Gengxu day/Dingchou hour has spring flourishing Wealth, summer Office, autumn plain, winter powerless. A verse says: “Geng/Ding combining complete at Chou hour resembles bright moon in blue sky. No punishment/conquest is rare, flourishing Wealth/Office lengthens years.” Another: “Geng day/Dingchou hour has Direct Office and Wealth Storehouse. Wu, Wei, or Xu month ample blessing, Geng finding the golden cabinet. Metal worked by Fire must shelter children/title wife; songs and wine always accompany leisurely joy.”

Six Geng Days at Wuyin Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Wuyin hour have Fire Born, Metal Extinct, a highly blessed person. Monthly Following Transformation or autumn birth makes a royal pillar.” Geng uses Bing Ghost and Wu Reversed Food. Exposed Wu at Yin combines Gui into Fire, Geng energy Extinct. No flourishing-Metal month or rescue gives early death, poverty and low status. Si month has Geng Long Life and strong Bing, Body/Ghost both strong; western fortune courageous violence and military rank. Shen, You, Chou or Xu Metal/Fire configuration transforms Ghost into Office, strong-Body fortune noble. Gengzi day/Wuyin hour with Yin/Wu year/month examination distinction; pure Shen third/fourth rank; Chou month Metal/Fire fortune dukes/ministers. Gengyin day/Wuyin hour with Fire-configuration month or autumn birth and strong-Body fortune noble. Gengzi month self-death; Xinyou in year poverty, early death, disability. Weak Body with excessively strong Bing same. Gengchen day/Wuyin hour in spring/summer, Bing/Ding emerging, strong-Body fortune noble. Gengwu day/Wuyin hour in Yin/Wu/Xu month weak Metal/strong Fire gives disability; pure Yin instead highest rank. Autumn strong Metal often noble, but hour Death/Robbery conquering Body harmful. A verse says: “Geng day/Yin hour praiseworthy; no punishment/conquest/disruption displays a damaged sorrow/glory phrase. High-person assistance and timing add flowers to brocade.” Another: “Geng day/Wuyin hour refined, printed Bian-Seal and Reversed Food hard to collect. Unrecognized youth need not worry: poor or rich. Timing develops Wealth/blessing, fortune sails downstream. Monthly Metal/Water concord and no disruption complete fame.”

Six Geng Days at Jimao Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Jimao hour have original Womb-Birth developing through wife. Support and flourishing Geng give abundant Wealth/Emolument, blessing/longevity complete.” Geng receives Womb at Mao and sees the printed Si as generative Seal. Yi Wealth flourishes within Mao, blessing through wife. Strong Ding in pillars with birth month carrying Emolument noble; support rich. Generative energy and flourishing Wealth, with corresponding fortune, noble. Gengzi day/Jimao hour has Zi/Mao punishment, wife/child injury; Zi year/month noble, Chou/Wei third-rank office. Another view ruined ancestry/lost land and great rank. Gengyin day/Jimao hour in Hai/Mao Wealth configuration early honor and early retirement. Wu/Xu three-harmony Office with Metal/Water emerging and northwestern fortune auspicious. Gengchen day/Jimao hour solitary; monthly Wood connection with support noble. Gengwu day/Jimao hour has punitive disruption. Shen, Zi, Chen, printed Ji, You or Chou all need southeastern fortune; Yin, Wu, Xu, Hai, Mao or Wei northwestern fortune. Gengshen day/Jimao hour in Mao Wealth month rich if not noble. Chou/Si year/month pure academy rank up to deputy minister. Another view youthful poverty, small middle-age calamity, wife harm and few children. A verse says: “Heavenly Origin Geng with Jimao hour sees documents and complete wealth/rank. No four-pillar punishment, clash, conquest or disruption, Noble guidance to blue Heaven.” Another: “Geng day/Jimao hour prospers in Wealth/Office fortune. No punitive clash assures honored title, disruption middle-age difficulty. Siblings/Six Relations unreliable, independent household inexhaustible. Timing displays fame, high-person recommendation.”

Six Geng Days at Gengchen Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Gengchen hour have pure Metal/Fire image in autumn. Chief Strength contains rank and low status; Wealth/Office preferences divide by a difficult Six-Offices phrase.” The prose calls Metal and Water clear and white. Gengxu/Gengchen among six Geng are Chief Strength, fearing Wealth, Office, punishment and clash. None describes rough heroic violence with rank; present a hundred calamities. Gengzi, Gengyin, Gengwu and Gengshen favor Wealth/Office. Autumn gives refined appearance, rich if not noble. Body not transforming with Jia, Yi or Ding emerging and birth in Fire/Wood divisions also uses Wealth/Office. Monthly connection and suitable fortune auspicious. Gengzi day/Gengchen hour in Shen month is Well Railing Fork; pillars/fortune without Bing, Ding, Si, Wu, Yin or Xu noble. Pure Mao year/month duke/marquis. Gengyin day/Gengchen hour is Dragon and Tiger Arching Gate, Fire/Earth year/month noble. Pure Gengchen prince/marquis, otherwise extreme harm. Wood/Fire year/month repeated in fortune highest rank. Gengchen day/Gengchen hour Chief Strength: no Wealth/Office or Xu in year/month noble, clash/disruption rich. Shen/Zi year/month makes Well Railing Fork, southwestern fortune auspicious. Pure Gengchen/Gengshen or Yiyou transforming Metal without Fire gives a violent lesser person; another view punishment. Gengwu day/Gengchen hour self-punishment and Metal Spirit entering Fire; Shen month Fire/Wood fortune sixth rank. Gengshen day/Gengchen hour with Zi/Shen year/month Well Railing Fork, no Bing/Ding/Si/Wu in pillars/fortune noble. Pure Gengshen/Gengchen with northwest or east fortune highest military rank. Gengxu day/Gengchen hour Chief Strength in thick Earth gives high office/heavy Emolument. Zi month southwestern fortune noble, Yin/Chen year/month ordinary. A verse, printing Six Kang, says: “At Chen hour infer carefully: Seal Storehouse opens with key. Punishment/clash in four pillars brings peaceful blessing/Emolument from Heaven.” Another: “Geng day/Gengchen hour's three-harmony branches make chief authority. Mao/Xu opens Storehouse, no disruption gives purple robes/gold belt. Si, Wu, Bing and Ding reduce the printed Deputy expression, plans send Wealth away and back. Repeated wives and late child are fated, wealth/rank leisurely.”

Six Geng Days at Xinsi Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Xinsi hour have Indirect Office combining Blade and oneself Born. Firm nature with lost Wife Wealth, Metal-territory fortune enjoys Noble Emolument.” Xin Blade and hidden Bing Killing combine as authority. Strong-Body month noble, none no rank but longevity. Gengzi day/Xinsi hour has spring riches, summer/autumn rank, winter poverty; season-ending Seal year/month southwestern fortune noble. Gengyin day/Xinsi hour in Si/You/Chou has strong Body noble; strong-Killing/weak-Body month poor; pure Shen year/month long-lasting great rank; Hai month southeastern fortune power. A first Gengchen day/Xinsi hour paragraph repeats Si/You/Chou strong Body noble, strong-Killing/weak-Body poverty, pure Shen lasting great rank and Hai southeastern power. A second Gengchen paragraph gives lifelong obstruction. No Wealth in year/month high; Wood connection southwestern fortune, Wei/Shen northeastern fortune noble. Another view nothing first, possession later. Gengwu day/Xinsi hour with Si, Wu or Mao year/month jinshi/censorial; Si, Shen, You or Xu with Earth/Wood fortune marquis/earl. Yin/Shen academy chief minister, Fire fortune also difficult ending. A verse says: “Geng day meeting the printed Yi-shaped hour has roughly ordinary blessing/Emolument. Pillar punishment, clash, disruption or harm, independence establishes escape from calamity.” Another: “Geng day/Xinsi hour has defeated Wealth and hidden Ghost. Wealth comes/goes, lesser people invade, ancestral foundation offers little shelter. Outer combinations repeated develop blessing, siblings silent. Late wife/child bring joy, bitter first, honored later.”

Six Geng Days at Renwu Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Renwu hour gather Food in Office/Seal blessing palace. Metal and the printed Shi assisting Body give distinction; flourishing Fire day makes fate hard.” Ding Office, Ji Seal and Ren Food are strong, yet Ren Food at Wu lacks energy and the source says Ding/Si Emolument flourishes. Metal/Earth month assisting Body noble. Fire connection makes Office Nobility too heavy, turning Ghost; soft Geng cannot receive blessing, though Body-assisting fortune gives rank. Gengzi day/Renwu hour clashes day/hour, sorrow and wife/child injury; Metal connection noble, Fire greatly noble but many worries and toil. Gengyin day/Renwu hour in Chen, Xu, Chou, Wei, Si, Shen or You strengthens Body and gives rank. Yin/Wu flourishing Fire repeated in fortune gives short life or disability. Gengchen day/Renwu hour has flourishing Food, good appetite and principles, dying upon advancement. Gengwu day/Renwu hour in Yin/Wu/Xu has soft Metal/strong Fire, timidity and disability; Hai/Zi/Wu month Wood/Fire fortune noble. Gengshen day/Renwu hour is Emolument/Horse in Same Homeland, most auspicious. Wu/Wei year/month cabinet rank; Mao/Chen/Yi-shaped position noble; Xu Fire/Earth fortune pure but unimportant post. Gengxu day/Renwu hour in Mao Direct Wealth auspicious; Wei Mixed-Qi Wealth/Office noble; Chen/Chou likewise. A verse says: “Ren/Geng meeting Wu without disruption/clash naturally brings blessing. Fame/profit can be hoped for, Noble recommendation to Heaven's steps.” Another: “Geng day/Renwu hour hides Office/Seal in branch. Noble Person and Emolument/Horse share homeland, harm silently fades and blessing grows. Conquest, disruption, punishment/clash bad, Void further avoided. General Star and Heavenly-Yi bring glory, middle/late household thriving.”

Six Geng Days at Guiwei Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Guiwei hour have Office under a damaged Kui-restraint phrase, Power Star retreating. Ji present and no emerging Ding still gives official distinction.” Seal/Wealth Storehouse: Yi Wealth enters Wei, Ding Office and Ji Seal within, restrained by exposed Gui. Ji restraining Gui in pillars and no exposed Ding gives office; no Ji but Ding emerging a hundred calamities. Fire/Earth fortune connection noble. Gengzi day/Guiwei hour without Ding in year/month and Ji restraining Gui noble. Gengyin day/Guiwei hour noble, season-ending month high, summer rich; annual/major fortune same. Si/You/Shen strong Body greatly noble. Gengchen day/Guiwei hour Chief Strength, Earth within Chen restrains Gui; no Ding in year/month noble. Mao month Metal/Water fortune seventh rank. Hurting Office turns from Emolument, Storehouse hard to open, inheritance blocked. Parents early lost/solitary, late wife/child harmonious. Auspicious fortune avoids disaster, flourishing Office/Wealth territory passes.”

Six Geng Days at Jiashen Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Jiashen hour have pure Returning Emolument with Wealth. No Si, Bing or Yin in pillars naturally brings fame and riches/rank.” Geng sees Emolument at Shen, Jia Indirect Wealth. No Bing Fire connection or Si/Yin punitive clash gives rank with some ordinary outcomes; annual/major fortune same. Gengzi day/Jiashen hour has hour Day Emolument and Wealth Star; no Si/Yin/Bing gives riches/rank. Season-ending Earth generating Metal auspicious; Yin/Wu/Xu ordinary; Shen/You Fire/Wood fortune noble; Yin/Hai third/fourth rank; Mao punishment; Zi often harmful. Gengyin day/Jiashen hour in Yin/Hai month third rank. Gengchen day/Jiashen hour has Chief Strength and Returning Emolument, both disliking Wealth/Office; no Yin, Wu, Xu, Bing, Ding or Si noble. Gengwu day/Jiashen hour noble, strong-Body month without Bing, Si, Yin, Wu or Ding damaging noble. Gengshen day/Jiashen hour noble; no Mao, Wu, Wei, Xu, Bing or Ding noble. Poor fortune farming/trade/craft, timely office promotion. High people glad, lesser people assist, no disruption a road to blue clouds.”

Six Geng Days at Yiyou Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Yiyou hour combine within Metal into true Metal. No Fire makes hardness break; Fire completing it gives glorious nobility.” Yi Wealth is Extinct and Xin Blade flourishing at You. True Metal without Fire is too hard and deficient; Fire fortune moderates transformation into balance. A general Gengchen example favors Horse in year/month, third/fourth rank but few or unworthy children. Gengzi day/Yiyou hour rich; Fire monthly connection noble, none ordinary, connected fortune satisfying; Mao/Hai year/month military command. Another view ancestral ruin/punitive harm. Gengyin day/Yiyou hour punishment; Yin/Wu/Xu auspicious, Shen/Zi violent. Gengchen day/Yiyou hour punishment; Yin/Mao/Wu year/month second-rank power, Xu/Hai great rank. Shenbai says Metal transformation deep blessing. Gengwu day/Yiyou hour punishment and middling rank; Yin–Wu–Xu or Hai–Mao–Wei noble; Yi-shaped position auspicious. A verse says: “Heavenly Origin transforming at You hour prospers with Earth in birth month. Wealth/Office favorable encounters display fame/profit under grace.” Another: “Geng day/Yiyou hour transforms true Metal. Wealth/Office fortune births blessing, refined intelligence. No Hai/Zi injures wife; a damaged rank/gain-loss phrase concerns disposition. Matters good later, harmful earlier, distinguished fate.”

Six Geng Days at Bingxu Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Bingxu hour have Metal/Fire contending, affairs unpropitious. Strong Body and monthly Seal auspicious; no connection/rescue unbearable harm.” Bing Ghost with Bing Fire/Wu Earth combining leaves Metal energy-less. Strong-Body Seal connection or Mao-month rescue gives rank; reverse ordinary, early death or low status. Connected fortune auspicious. Geng belongs to large intestine; excessively strong Bing/Ding indicates hemorrhoids/fistulas, organ toxin, pus and blood. Gengzi day/Bingxu hour in spring uses Wealth for Indirect Office auspiciously; summer strong Killing/weak Body violent, autumn both strong. Yi-shaped/You/Chou month western fortune gold-and-purple. Yin/Hai/Zi has Metal Extinct/Ill/Dead, often poor/low; another view deaf/mute or dog/wolf injury. Six Geng Days at Dinghai Hour
A verse says: “Six Geng days at Dinghai hour have misplaced Office and declining Body.
