A verse says: “Six Xin days at Wuzi hour have Seal/Study Hall seated on Food. No Bing, Ding or Wu disruption must give honored distinction.” Six Yin Turning toward Yang: Xin at Zi Long Life and Study Hall, Wu Seal and Gui Food, exposed Wu and hidden Gui. No Bing, Ding or Wu clashing open in pillars and strong-Body month gives great rank; infringement no rank. No monthly connection but connected fortune noble. Six Xin Days at Jichou Hour
A verse says: “Six Xin days at Jichou hour have Metal/Earth contending, unstable. Year/month Wealth/Office rescue avoids hunger and cold.” Ji Reversed Food is exposed, Xin hidden at Chou. No year/month Wealth/Office rescue gives poverty; their fortune auspicious. Xinchou day/Jichou hour solitary, turbid and obstructed. Shen/You flourishing Metal with Fire fortune opens passage but injures wife/child; monk/Daoist noble. Pure Chou southwestern fortune greatly noble. Xinmao day/Jichou hour in Yin, Mao, Hai or Wei Wealth configuration with southern fortune noble; season-ending Seal month southern fortune auspicious. Xinsi, with Yi-shaped branch, at Jichou hour in Chou/Yi-shaped/Shen/You month has much Metal conquering Wood, wife/child injury; monk/Daoist noble. Yin/Mao/Chen southern fortune noble. Jia, Bing, Mao and Yin develop blessing; Gui, Ren, Hai and Zi drift. Youthful hopes difficult, middle/late prospects arrive.”

Six Xin Days at Gengyin Hour
A verse says: “Six Xin days at Gengyin hour have flourishing Wealth generating Office and Noble Spirit. Metal/Wood monthly connection must make honored riches and rank.”
Xin takes Yin Heavenly-Yi Nobility, Bing Office and Jia Wealth, both flourishing at Yin. Metal/Wood month or connected fortune gives rich distinction.
Xinchou day/Gengyin hour has spring rank, summer strong Office, autumn distinction, winter auspiciousness. Chou month southern fortune censorial/military rank. Another view advancement brings wind illness. You/Shen Metal year/month without Fire gives poverty/early death.

Six Xin Days at Xinmao Hour
A verse says: “Six Xin days at Xinmao hour meet Equal, wife/child difficult. Autumn/winter poor and low; Bing at Yin's Horse instead holds power.”
Equal divides Wealth. Xin takes Yi Wealth, flourishing at Mao, but Equal seizes it, injuring wife/child. Autumn/winter Wealth/Office energy-less ordinary. Yin, Si or Wu month with Bing emerging, Bing/Xin combining generation, gives Office distinction. Xinmao is Suspended-Needle Killing; many in pillars inauspicious.

A verse says: “Six Xin at Mao have clear Emolument, Equal/Robbing with Wealth fails affairs. Spring/summer Wealth/Emolument flourishes, autumn/winter punitive harm ordinary.”
Another begins: “Xin day/Xinmao hour has two Xin dividing Wife Wealth. Siblings and spouses lack harmony; independent establishment is unhindered.
“Year/month Wealth Star Born/Flourishing gladly gets Emolument from Heaven. Equal/Robbing fortune buries affairs, Wood/Fire fortune passes smoothly.”

Six Xin Days at Renchen Hour
A verse says: “Six Xin days at Renchen hour gain spirit through Complete Injury. Empty Fire in pillars fears conquest/harm, a miscellaneous artisan, diviner or physician.” Hidden Metal sinks below Water. Xin uses Bing Office, Ren Hurting; Chen Water Storehouse leaves Bing/Xin energy-less, Ren combining configuration. Bing emerging in year/month makes Hurting See Office and a hundred punitive calamities, proud exaggeration and empty refinement. No monthly connection/support gives repeated success/failure and medical/divinatory arts. Wood/Fire in pillars with strong Body and southeastern fortune gives rank. Six Xin Days at Guisi Hour
A verse says: “Six Xin days at Guisi hour have noble energy uninjured, Office/Seal strong. Monthly connection and support give early honored fame.” Bing Office, Wu Seal and Gui Food: Bing/Wu strong at Si, Gui combining transforms Fire, red/white writing. Support with monthly connection gives distinction; fortune connection without monthly also noble. Xinchou day/Guisi hour harmful, leaving parents develops blessing. Spring/summer auspicious, autumn/winter violent. Another view noble transformation, abstain from alcohol. Xinmao day/Guisi hour in spring/summer weak Body short life, autumn strong Body hard toil. Worthy wife and filial child fit together; punishment/disruption in Si hour unfavorable.”

Judgments for the Six Xin Days at the Jiawu Hour
When any of the six Xin days meets a Jiawu hour, hidden Ghost and Owl Spirit are truly formidable. Without support, one instead labors through life; do not simply say that Xin meeting the Horse brings distinction. For a Xin day at a Jiawu hour, Ghost flourishes and the Body declines. Xin takes Ding as Ghost, Ji as Inverted Food, and Jia as Wealth. Wood dies at Jiawu, leaving that spirit without influence, while Ding and Ji are vigorous. Although Wu is Heavenly Yi Nobleman, life repeatedly reverses its course; even with access to flourishing influence, distinction does not endure. Birth in a Fire or Earth month, followed by western progression, brings distinction. For a Xinchou day at a Jiawu hour, with Wei or Shen in the year and month, advantages and injuries coexist in the four pillars: even if wealthy, life is cut short. Access to Metal can bring distinction, but it does not last. For a Xinmao day at a Jiawu hour, a Mao month brings military distinction. Yin or Xu brings the ruin of ancestral property; otherwise there is disability or early death. Si or Wu brings distinction at the seventh or eighth rank; the same applies to progression. For a Xinsi day at a Jiawu hour, the judgment is ordinary. Yin, Wu, or Xu makes Office flourish and is favorable; Shen, Zi, or Chen is commonplace. Mao and Xu in the year bring both Office and Seal, with the standing of a duke or marquis. For a Xinwei day at a Jiawu hour, Shen, Zi, or Chen restrains Indirect Office and is favorable. Chen, Xu, Chou, or Wei gives mixed-influence Wealth and Office and conspicuous distinction. When the stem of a six-Xin day meets Jiawu, Wealth Spirit lacks influence and is ill matched. Born in spring, with Wood flourishing and progression through Wealth and Office, one's name spreads along an abundant course. A Xin day meeting Jiawu: wife and Wealth lack influence, and the Body declines. Strong stems with flourishing Fire form a Ghost embryo; heavy Fire melts and ruins yielding Metal. Above all, avoid injury to Useful Spirit; Metal sinking beneath the sea brings disaster. With neither punishment nor breaking, wishes are fulfilled, with distinguished rank, brightness, and breadth.

Judgments for the Six Xin Days at the Yiwei Hour
When any of the six Xin days is born at a Yiwei hour, Fire and Wood assist one another, and Metal need not fear. With the month giving access to Metal influence and spring's flourishing, prosperous Wealth generates Office, and the person gains distinction. For a Xin day at a Yiwei hour, Heavenly Wealth enters the storehouse. Xin takes Yi as Wealth, which enters storage at Wei; Ji is Inverted Food, and Ding is Proper Ghost. Hidden Ding is present at Wei, while Ji is restrained by manifest Yi and cannot cause harm. Access to the Metal influence of a Si, You, or Chou month brings distinction. With access to Fire, western progression brings distinction; with access to Metal, southern progression also brings distinction. For a Xinchou day at a Yiwei hour, there is punishment. A Hai, Mao, Wei, or Yin month makes Wealth flourish and generate Office: if not distinguished, then wealthy. Chen, Xu, Chou, and Zi are all favorable. For a Xinmao day at a Yiwei hour, a Hai, Mao, or Wei month makes abundant Wealth generate Office and is favorable. For a Xinsi day at a Yiwei hour, monthly access to Metal and Fire brings distinction; progression giving such access also brings distinction. Early years bring blessings; in the marriage chamber one withstands opposition without disaster. Glory, wealth, and distinction are arranged in the destiny; without breaking, an official enjoys clarity and peace.

Judgments for the Six Xin Days at the Bingshen Hour
When a Xin day is born at a Bingshen hour, monthly access to Metal and Fire renews its vigor. Transformation into Metal and Water, meeting a Metal place, gathers blessings and can make a wealthy and distinguished person.
For a Xin day at a Bingshen hour, Bing and Xin transform into Water, which has Long Life at Shen. If the month gives access to the Metal influence of Si, You, or Chou, spirit and bearing are refined and beautiful, and literary accomplishment gathers blessings. With access to flourishing Fire influence and support, there is distinction. Xinyou and Xinwei are finest. If the transformation configuration does not form, Office Star lacks influence at Shen, giving ordinary clothing and sustenance.
For a Xinchou day at a Bingshen hour, transformation brings distinction. Youth is obstructed and stripped of advantages; middle age brings conspicuous distinction. In a Hai month, judge it as transformation influence: favorable. In a Yin, Wu, Wu-stem, Si, or Wei month, Office Star has influence; in spring, Wealth flourishes: both are favorable.
For a Xinmao day at a Bingshen hour, transformation brings distinction. In a Yin, Si, Wu, Wei, Xu, You, or Hai month, Office Star is bright, mountains clear and waters beautiful, bringing examination success, glory, and distinction. Access to Earth influence also brings distinction. One account says youth is obstructed, while middle and later life are good.
For a Xinsi day at a Bingshen hour, seeing blood brings blessings. Another account says there is loss amid distinction. Shen or Wei in the year and month gives a substantial person, an esteemed wife, and filial children, with a military post of the third rank.
For a Xinwei day at a Bingshen hour, wealth is gained through a noble person's household. Spring brings pure distinction; summer is commonplace.
Autumn brings wealth; winter brings great distinction but a short life. The Shenbai Classic says: Metal and Water combine discordantly, yet transform into Water, indicating distinction.
For a Xinyou day at a Bingshen hour, a Yin, Si, Wu, or Xu month makes Office flourish and brings glory and distinction. The Shenbai Classic says: transformation into Water indicates distinction.
For a Xinhai day at a Bingshen hour, blessings develop, but beware solitude, harm to kin, and illness. Access to Metal influence indicates a refined, beautiful person with substantial blessings. Access to Water influence brings great distinction.
A Xin day meeting the fine Bingshen hour: the Heavenly Origin combines and transforms in its true form. Born in winter, if there is neither punishment nor breaking, one should rise to conspicuous distinction on an important official route.
A Xin day meeting Bingshen: Long Life, Emolument, and Horse are remarkable. The Heavenly Origin's combination and transformation shines forth, with weighty office, lofty reputation, and authority. A gentleman establishes himself through writing; an ordinary person prospers and builds the family estate. The birth hour truly fixes this without deficiency; progression favors western, southern, and eastern places.

Judgments for the Six Xin Days at the Dingyou Hour
When any of the six Xin days is born at Dingyou, Ghost breaks Emolument and brings a hundred kinds of disaster. Only with support and a strong Body can it be judged favorable; monthly access to restraint makes it Indirect Office. For a Xin day at a Dingyou hour, Fire and Metal contend. Xin Metal is vigorous at You; it sees Ding as Proper Ghost. Ding has Long Life at You and breaks Emolument: blessings fail to form, and success and failure repeatedly alternate. If the Body is strong, accesses monthly influence, and has restraint, judge it as Indirect Office. Further progression that strengthens the Body brings distinction. With access to Metal influence, no Ding, and a strong Body, southern progression brings great distinction. For a Xinchou day at a Dingyou hour, the position is high, level, and stable. A You month with Earth or Wood progression brings regional authority. Xu, Hai, Zi, Si, or Wei in the year and month brings great distinction. For a Xinmao day at a Dingyou hour, hour and day clash with one another. If the month gives access to Metal influence and neither Bing nor Ding emerges, southern progression brings distinction. For a Xinsi day at a Dingyou hour, the judgment is ordinary. A Hai month brings repeated instability. A Wu month gives Indirect Office with illness, conspicuous achievement, and a short life. A Zi month brings the standing of an imperial relative. One account says there is wealth and joy, but life does not exceed thirty-one. A fortunate person with support can hardly rely on ancestors; without access to monthly influence, the result is ordinary. For a Xin day at a Wuxu hour, Emolument and the Seal Hall dwell together. Xin takes Xu as the Hall of Emolument. At Xu, manifest Wu serves as Seal. Bing and Ding serve as Office; at Xu, Wu Earth occupies its proper place, and Bing and Ding form a Fire configuration. If there is support and access to monthly influence, ancestral property is difficult to maintain. Without such access, the result is ordinary. For a Xinchou day at a Wuxu hour, there is punishment and harm. Chen, Xu, Chou, or Wei gives Seal; southern progression brings great distinction. Yin or Si gives Proper Office and distinction. Zi, Wu, Mao, or You brings a military or censorial post. For a Xinmao day at a Wuxu hour, there is punishment, harm, and voracious greed. For a Xinyou day at a Jihai hour, Chen, Xu, Chou, or Wei gives mixed-influence Wealth and Office and is favorable. Pure Hai clashes out Bing Fire within Si to serve as Office and brings distinction. For a Xinhai day at a Jihai hour, another Hai in the year and month gives Flying Heaven Emolument and Horse, with distinction at the third or fourth rank; in military service, the highest rank, as marquis or earl. A Xin day at a Jihai hour: Owl Spirit turns away from Emolument and indicates disasters and anxieties. A Xin day meeting Jihai: Owl Spirit and Turning Away from Emolument occupy the same palace. It resembles a waning moon amid cloud and dragon. Ren-Si and Jiayin are of no use. Parents are both present, yet there is discord; faded flowers bear fruit, but must be guarded against wind. Without restraint, breaking, punishment, or clash, Flying Heaven Emolument and Horse brings substantial blessings.
